As we got off the train from Salzburg and stepped out side the train station in Vienna, we could feel the heat. We thought we are going to get roasted during the day, just like Salzburg.
Once again, Sheila had selected an outstanding apartment - "The Pension Sacher" - for us to stay. The apartment is right in Stephansplatz, managed by a very sweet & nice family and we were given a warm and hearty welcome. To visit Stephansplatz, all we need to do is just step out of the apartment building!
Stephansplatz is the name of the square at the center of Vienna and is named after the famous Stephansdom
( aka St. Stephens Cathedral ). The Stephansplatz was alive with people until late night and it was almost like living in an apartment right in the middle of Time Square, NY :))

| During our many walks around the city, we found fountains with sculptures reminding us of our 2006 trip to Italy. |

| As we were leaving for Prague the following morning, we enjoyed Stephansplatz at night, one last time - on this trip; who knows we may be back here again :)) |
